ReemWali x Meraki Design House

Another week has gone by, which means the  closer we are getting to the end of fall, at least in terms of seasons in the fashion world. This time of year signifies the beginning of mid-season sales and I still cannot get over the fact that my fall wardrobe has yet to come out! I almost dread shopping these days because stores are full of velvet fabrics, warm knits, thigh high boots, all of which are unwearable in Dubai weather at the moment. I will give it another good month or so and when everyone is sick of their Fall/Winter collections, mine will start to come out. This seems to be the only  downside of living in such a warm climate. I have always preferred the endless possibilities of layering your fall/winter attire as opposed to the simple light options of summer.

This does not mean that layering in Dubai Weather is not possible. I am all about those loose airy layers in light breezy fabrics which can allow you to repeat different aspects of your wardrobe in multitudes of combinations. This particular outfit I have paired my Gap sleeveless vest, with this loose swing vest. Cinching waists is a big trend this season so I added my Reiss pony hair belt to the mix. The wow factor of my outfit definitely comes from my colourful flats, from Meraki Design House. It adds an East-meets- West element to my outfit which makes it that much more fun. Eman of Meraki Design House has handcrafted each individual shoe, all of which is completely leather. This means that in essence, no one pair is alike. Meraki offers worldwide shipping and for my Canadian followers, she is offering a one time  10% off discount code on any of the products, no minimum spend, and free shipping! The code to use is ‘Reema’. The website is Take advantage while you can!

Much Love,

Reema Naeem Wali
